The bottom appears to be in two sections. Do both sections need to be unscrewed? I have added PCI SSD to HP laptops but this is my first MSI.Hard to really say, but I would imagine you shouldn't need any brackets, etc.....
I think the only way to find out will be to open it up and see. Sometimes they will require a bracket, sometimes they won't. I don't have the laptop, so I can't really help more than to say to open it up and check.
Either way, you should be able to contact MSI and get one, if it's not there.

I don't have the total numbers yet on the USB-C and USB-A port speeds but none of them appear to be USB 3.2 2x2. Even the back TB4 port which is supposed to emulate USB4 only responds as USB 3.2 1x1 speeds.
I am not increasing ram until MSI publishes a RAM approved list. Then I would choose the lowest wattage dimms verses the fastest if I really needed more memory.Done my upgrade today was very simple remove the top hinge and back cover comes away eiser. Dropped my 64gb Ram in there and was done.
