hi there, I've got an msi MS-AA88 All-in One pro20E4BW with intel Celeron n3160 14nm 1.60 Ghz, which I'd like to make it run smoother upgrading the Ram. My ram specifications are:
ddr3/ddr3-L
1600 mhz
pc3 12800
CL 11
1.35V to 1.50V
The current ram on my Pc is 4GB, and the limit seems to be 8GB, the command prompt tells that i 've two ram's slots but when dismantled I 've found just one.
my questions are:
can i mount directly a 8 gb ram?
can i go over the motherboard memory limit?
or is it more convenient to mount a new intel motherboard for all-in One pc?
thanks for any replies.

The memory limit for your CPU is 8GB (DDR3-1600), but it can be achieved with 2 modules only (2 x 4GB).
With a single 8GB module it won't work (the limit is 4GB per memory channel).
See: https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www...0-2m-cache-up-to-2-24-ghz/specifications.html

are any ways to increase the MSI all in one performance? is it possible and affordable to mount a new motherboard which can be fitted in such a minimum space?

With the current motherboard, not much for you to do:
https://www.msi.com/All-in-One-PC/Pro-20E-4BW/Specification
To improve the performances you need to:
1) get rid of that Celeron CPU, but that's a difficult task
2) add more memory (they mention 2 memory slots for certain models), but you have only one.
Try to contact a service center and see if they have a solution to replace the motherboard with something better.
