Random system restarts - seeking advice

Hi, over the past few days my PC has struggled to boot up. This happens in stages as follows:
1) System crash [BSOD] during the MSI splash screen ......... so I do a soft restart
2) On 2nd restart I can get as far as to open Edge but then that crashes too
3) On 3rd restart I can open a website and - randomly - the system crashes again
4) After 4th restart I am still encountering random crashes
I have tried chkdisk to resolve any corrupted files but my system is still crashing randomly.
W10 Home version 2009 OS build 19045.5796.
I have not made any hardware changes for a very long time.
Can anyone suggest what's causing the crashing problems

Kind of helps if we know what you have
but could be cooling or Power problem

Hello Allan JT. I was coming to a similar conclusion re cooling. I have a B350M-PRO-VDH motherboard - which is fan-less - i.e. passive cooling, using a Ryzen 5 1600 processor. 32GB of RAM.
Other specs are 512GB SSD [120GB free] and an Nvidia GEFORCE GTX1050Ti 4GB graphics card and 1TB HDD as back up drive [453GB free. HTH.

Update - think I have figured it out. Checking in MSI Command Centre the system fan was in manual and fixed at 50% - not sure why. Now in Auto and so far so good.
