Hi all,
Just bought my new rig. It is described in my signature. Unfortunately I found two issues with my current setup. The second issue is in a separate post.
What I found out is that my Razer copperhead mouse is not recognized in the P67A-GD65 BIOS. It only (luckily) finds the keyboard. I tried a different plain microsoft mouse and that one is working fine. I tried both 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9B1 versions of the BIOS.
The USB layout of my mouse is as follows according to windows 7 device manager:
USB Composite Device
- Razer Copperhead USB Mouse
- HID-compliant mouse
- USB Input Device
- HID Keyboard Device
note: I have no idea why this mouse provides a 'Keyboard'. It is not a real one, maybe it is used for the extra buttons? The bios does mention this keyboard in the USB settings page (so in total it sees 2 keyboards). Maybe it stops enumerating the mouse HID because it already found the (non-working) keyboard HID?
Are more people having this issue? Maybe the BIOS does not like the USB layout of my mouse?
