I updated my PRO B660M-A DDR4 bios from 7D43v1E to 7D43v1F through MSI control center, after that Realtek Audio is not detecting/showing in Windows 11 and Windows 10 dual boot OS. The Audio is enabled in Bios.

Does the audio work after bios downgrading?
yes, audio works after downgrade.

also msi answer my ticket about v1F bios no audio, says:
-
Regarding your concern, please unplug the power-cord and clear CMOS (How to clear CMOS. Please refer to the manual) for a try. Please also disable the HD Audio Controller in bios, after PC restart, please enable it again to check.
-
you can try this before downgrade, maybe it works

As per Citay, I had cleared the CMOS, As per msi I disabled the HD Audio Controller in bios, after PC restart, I enabled it again, but no result. That's why I was asking about bios downgrading. And I too have raised a ticket to MSI team.

Hi !

I have the exact same problem as you described with my MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4. I updated my bios from 7D43v1E to 7D43v1F through the BIOS M-Flash and I get no audio at all when plugging my 3.5 audio jack in the front or back panel.
MB: MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4 (MS-7D43)
OS: Win 11 Pro 22H2 (22621.2715)
CPU: Intel Core i5-13500
RAM: Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 KF432C16BB1K2/32
GPU: Sapphire AMD RX 7900 XT 20GB Reference model
SSD 1: Samsung 980 PRO with Heat sink 1 TB
SSD 2: Crucial P5 Plus with Heat sink 2 TB
PSU: ASUS ROG-STRIX-1000W 80 plus Gold

I tried a clear CMOS with pc unplugged, disabled HD Audio Controller in bios and enabled it after each restart, uninstalled realtek drivers using DDU, used windows troubleshooter for sound, yet nothing has worked.

I don't want to downgrade my bios because I'm afraid of bricking the motherboard and do no want to launch an RMA procedure.

Not only that, but I've always updated my bios through M-Flash without problems since I got the motherboard last year and nothing ever broke except yesterday with this 7D43v1F update.

I will create a ticket too. They need to know something is breaking the sound on this motherboard with the latest bios update.

Yes, report it all to MSI. If they get enough consistent reports about the issue, they will hopefully pull the newest BIOS version and replace it with a fixed one soon.

Same here. I have MSI Pro B660M-A Motherboard. Realtek Audio doesn't work on the newest 7D43v1F, it's even removed from Device Manager.
So I re-flashed back to 7D43v1E and Realtek Audio works properly again. Please fix this MSI. My 14700K is on the way.

I don't know if it's important, but when I was using the previous bios, when I disconnected and plugged in my display-monitor cable, the audio device was disappearing, but it was fixed when I restarted. That's why I can't trust the previous bios either

I love and trust MSI, I don't want to lower the CPU code again since I use 14600k, let's follow the developments and updates.

Glad i found this thread somehow. I'm having the same problem with realtek audio gone and speakers not working anymore after bios update. Using MSI PRO B660M-A DDR4 motherboard with i5-12600k cpu.
