What do you think about this one?

Intel cards seem to be hard / expensive to get. I'll still get one if I don't have another option though.

Regarding 2.5G, my router and cables should be able to handle it when my ISP decides to give me more than 1 Gbps. And that'll probably happen soon-ish. They increased my speed from 100 Mbps to 300 Mbps for free. Then 300 to 600. It's expected that they'll increase it to 1 Gbps soon. And I'm sure they'll keep increasing it after that. So I think it would be a bit of a shame to get a 1 Gbps card.
That Asus card is a realtek 2.5Gbp adapter so if the driver is broke this won't fix your issue.

Playing warzone with bittorrent in the background uploading for 4 hours with 0 drops, finally looks promising.

Edit: 9 hours playing warzone with bittorrent opened still no drops.
Edit2: Net drops still persists.

The latest driver SEEMS to have fixed the issue for me. qbittorrent has been open for a few hours now with UTP enabled and the connection hasn't dropped once. It would have dropped multiple times by now with the previous driver. Will update if it ends up dropping the connection again.

EDIT: Yep pretty sure it's fixed. Still need more reports from people though.

Following this thread, it's looking promising. Each driver makes it a little bit less broken

I have a similar issue.
Z490-A Pro
Gig internet hardlined from modem

Had gig speeds up until this week, don't know the exact date when it stopped.
Steam was downloading way slower. I checked my speed and only was getting about 100mbs. Checked my settings, modem is fine, restarted everything. Noticed my adapter settings were at 100mbs. Replaced older cat5e ethernet cord with new cat6. Updated adapter driver. Updated BIOS. Still showing 100mbs.

Interesting note: BIOS hardware overview shows the LAN port as 100m. Obviously we know its 2.5.

I'm 100% it's a driver issue but hoping you all have an idea to fix it. I'd like to take advatage of the speeds I pay for.

EDIT: I guess a connection was loose somewhere. I just messed around with all of them, reseated and stuff, and my speed is back.

We're a small R&D shop running the early release Windows 10 Pro and the new Realtek/MSI release did not help at all. Still losing connection to the gateway address and the device manager for the controller reports device installation not completed. Any others seeing the same result or do I need to go to a more stable Windows 10 version?

Gigabyte have same issue with 2.5G Realtec NIC. Gigabyte team recommends to disable Interrupt Moderation in NIC driver settings. Have changed this and will update if it works.

I haven't got random disconnects while watching youtube on the latest driver(that was the issue for me before). Will test torrents and report later.

Hello,
I have msi z490 gaming plus and I have issue with integrated network adapter.
Under load, the network adapter sometimes resets. It happens several times a day.
An error appears in the windows log:
Error code 10400
"The network interface "Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller" has begun resetting. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware reset. Reason: The network driver detected that its hardware has stopped responding to commands. This network interface has reset 3 time(s) since in was initialized."

Same here! I disabled Interrupt Moderation with no success but then installed 10.047 and have had uninterrupted connectivity for 27+ hours.

So if you
-install driver 10.047
-disable Interrupt Moderation

Is anyone having problems after this configuration? 10.048 driver should disable Interrupt Moderation altogether and seal the deal!

A day has passed since the installation of the new driver 10.047 with " -disable Interrupt Moderation ". Everything is fine, no errors and dumps, including when loading qbittorrent
