And of course in Power Management disable Allow the computer to turn off this device.

P.S This issue dragging more than 6 months, thousands of people having same issue and no word/fix from Realtek, shame!

Hmm, after trying out these exact settings I haven't ran into any issues so far. ( 1 1/2 days of testing ) Will reply in a few days if it's just luck or if these settings really did something.

With these settings I can run u/q/bitTorrent 24/7, downloading, uploading with 0 net drops. This must be a driver level issue.

Not quite. Running plain, without offloads, buffers, flow control and interrupt moderation shows that the controller is not functioning how it should.

It also puts more strain on the CPU, since packets are going unmoderated and without any form of control.

Same here. Some issues I was having are "gone" at the moment, testing since yesterday. But my Intel PCIe card arrives in 2 days, so don't have long left to use this onboard BS.

Agreed. We can try to send some copy pasta message to Realtek support. A collective letter if you will.

I think the best thing is to maintain the discussion with the producers, like MSI, Gigabyte and so on, they are the only ones who can put real pressure on Realtek, since it's their partner after all.

I have the same issue with MSI Motherboard. But I'm lucky to have a friend in Realtek. He told me they took it very seriously (many people are f**king them, haha), their RD engineer has been concentrated on setting up the test environment, and analysing it.
I decided to leave it to them, until they fix the issue.

Truth to be told, the issue is not only on Realtek's shoulders, as MSI or other mainboard producers want you to believe, it's on them too. They should've tested extensively this NIC and figure out from last year that there were problems with UDP protocol (Ndis disconnect Error) and ARP / STP loopback (router going crazy), because what happened is beyond understanding - a faulty NIC soldered in millions of boards made by all 4 motherboard producers, ended discovered by poor clients.

After that, a complete silence for 6 months+, followed by some driver unoficially released (Realtek still has the old version on their page) that fixed only half of the issue.

Makes you wonder what sort of QC they all have lol, they probably tested the network part with a webpage. "Does it load Facebook ? OK, then all good, go, go, go, let's craft 100k pieces till the end of the month !"

I have the same problem on my x570 Unify with latest beta Bios A86 and also with A85.

No wonder, the extreme greed of motherboard manufacturers made them use this craptastic cheap NIC instead of Intel on almost every product.

Thing is... I would've gladly paid 30 more bucks just to have an Intel NIC and no such issues...

So, in summary, do we have 3 different issues with the chip?

1 - NDIS reset under some UDP loads (fixed in the latest driver?)
2 - routers/switches go crazy under some conditions
3 - the interface just hangs under certain load like watching youtube (my case)

anything else? The thing is huge, I see more and more new messages on boards and forums all over internet.
