Awesome, thanks !!the RealtekHSA_294 & RealtekService_616 component drivers are bundled in MSI's Realtek UAD/DCH 6.0.9514.1 driver package and Lord44 here does not show how to update them (which is useless without any method or instructions of updating these components).
download that 9514 driver but DO NOT RUN the setup.exe installer - it won't work & won't detect the Realtek USB ALC4080/ALC4082 audio devices. instead, open the package using any file archiving tool like 7zip, extract the \Realtek HD Universal Driver\Win64\Realtek\RealtekHSA_294\ and \Realtek HD Universal Driver\Win64\Realtek\RealtekService_616\ folders onto the local C: drive [like c:\temp\Realtek HD Universal Driver\Win64\Realtek\RealtekService_616\ & c:\temp\Realtek HD Universal Driver\Win64\Realtek\RealtekHSA_294\]. Run Device Manager (type devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog box), expand the "Software components" section, look for "Realtek Hardware Support Application" & update that driver to v11.0.6000.294, using the RealtekHSA.inf file from the \RealtekHSA_294\ folder. And in the same "Software components" section, look for "Realtek Audio Universal Service" & update that driver to 1.0.616.0, using the RealtekService.inf file from the \RealtekService_616\ folder.
with "Realtek Hardware Support Application" component updated to 11.0.6000.294, version 1.41.294.0 of the Realtek Audio Console app can now be obtained from the MS store.
It seems to have fixed the issue I had with a crackling left speaker, nearly every time an audio file was played. Why aren't MSI making the driver updates available via the MSI Centre? What's the point of having it, as it never keeps up with new drivers. I ran an intel scan and it discovered a bunch of stuff outdated within the motherboard.Realtek USB Audio (UAD) 6.3.9600.2360 NEW !! from DELL not working for MSI![]()
