it does not always work out that way. it's Realtek that you have to take the issue up to, and not just with MSI.
sometimes Realtek makes specific drivers and will have different usb driver versions that will sometimes not support all manufacturers. plus Realtek does not do usb audio drivers that much as they get few updates than standard hd audio drivers. MSI has to specficially ask Realtek for new versions but so far they have not.
now this guy in another thread does updates the RIGHT & proper way (with actual download links to the updates), while you do it the WRONG & confusing way.
oh btw, this realtek usb audio 6.3.9600.2368 driver from station drivers recently came out but it's for AMD systems only, not for Intel based MSI boards like yours. although you can't update to that driver version (because the necessary INF file is missing for MSI systems and only available for AMD systems), you could update some of the included components like RealtekHSA to 11.0.6000.304 and RealtekUSBAPO to v12.0.6000.1097 on Win10 & v13.0.6000.1097 on Win11 (the RealtekUSBAPO drivers are now "split" into two different versions; one specific for Win10 and the other specific for Win11).

Microsoft has recently posted a Realtek USB Audio 6.3.9600.2369 codec driver on the MS Update Catalog site late Sunday night Nov. 26, 2023 (mainly coz Realtek sent it to Microsoft to host on the ms catalog site and thru windows update).
this driver is an "All OEM" version that includes the necessary RtDUsbAD_msi.inf file that can install on certain MSI motherboards with Realtek ALC4080 or ALC4082 usb audio hardware.
it's too bad Microstar International [MSI] did not ask Realtek yet for new realtek usb audio drivers since the 6.3.9600.2353 version produced back in late February 2023 & released to MSI around March 2023 (well Realtek USB audio devices are less common than standard Realtek HD audio devices and therefore usb audio drivers get LESS updates). Asus & Supermicro already have v6.3.9600.2368 of the realtek usb audio drivers for their respective systems in Q4 2023 and MSI already now has an outdated version.

finally after about 9 months since the March 2023 release, MSI updated their Realtek USB Audio MSI driver package (realtek_audio_USB_R) to version 6.3.9600.2369 on Xmas day Dec. 25
-Realtek usb audio device extension INF files updated from CodecExtOem_RTK_71 to CodecExtOem_RTK_73 in this 2369 release
also released is the standard Realtek HD audio UAD MSI driver version 6.0.9618.1, which has the following updated components:
- Realtek Universal Service {RealtekService} Component updated 681
- RealtekHSA component updated 315

this new Realtek USB Audio MSI driver was recently released in late March 2024 only thru MSI LiveUpdate for some recent MSI motherboards with Realtek ALC4080/4082 usb audio hardware: version 6.3.9600.2379 {oh lucky MSI board users who use the MSI LiveUpdate app might get this new version offered - currently an "exclusive" release}
the main MSI web site still has the older 6.3.9600.2369 version but was re-released March 19, 2024 to include the missing RealtekUSBAPO_13_1097 driver package for win11 (the original 2369 driver package released back on 12/25/2023 had only RealtekUSBAPO_12_1097 for win10, but now the revised package has both RealtekUSBAPO_12_1097 & RealtekUSBAPO_13_1097 drivers included)

yea MSI did finally post the 2379 driver version on the main MSI web site near end of March 2024, several days after the 2379 usb audio driver was released on the MSI LiveUpdate site

Hi, I recently built my PC using an MSI Z790 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard. I've installed the Realtek audio driver from the motherboard's website, but the sound is very low even at 100% volume. This issue was present even before I installed the driver. At 100% volume, it sounds like it's at 50%, and at 50%, it sounds like 20%. I initially thought this was due to Windows 11, but the Microsoft support team checked everything remotely and said the issue must be with the motherboard's audio driver. Could you please help me with this?

the link to this "unofficial Realtek USB Audio 6.3.9600.2391 MSI driver" package is no longer working (it has been recently removed from MEGA)
however, an "official" Realtek USB Audio MSI version 6.3.9600.2391 driver package is available thru MSI LiveUpdate, so use the one from the MSI LiveUpdate site instead.
