Refresh rate is not as advertized.

I just purchased a new Monitor (Optix G27C4) and it says it gives a refresh rate of 165 Hz, but when I go to my display settings it only gives a max of 144 Hz. How can I fix this so it gives me the refresh rate promised?

What type of cable did you use for your connection? Display Port or HDMI? HDMI only does 144hz and DP does 165hz. If you are using DP cable then check your Windows display resolutions and set the resolution from there. Good luck and let us know the outcome.
