Is it a used Laptop? Maybe it is already registered.
Contact the support. I had a similar problem and the support was friendly and helpful after some communication.
Are you sure that the serial number is right?

Why?

I had a similar problem

I got banned by MSI because I used a VPN (cloudflare warp) to access there site.
Needed some weeks and the help of the German forum to solve this problem and get again access to my MSI account and the forums. The support was not really helpful.
But:
After I had my account back my product registration was gone. It needed only a few emails to register the device again. Most they wanted proof that I am the owner of the device.

Po odzyskaniu konta moja rejestracja produktu zniknęła. Aby ponownie zarejestrować urządzenie, wystarczyło kilka e-maili. Większość chciała dowodu, że jestem właścicielem urządzenia.
