I recently purchased a MSI Raider GE68 HX 14VHG and I wanted to know if any of the Keys are replaceable?
Specificly the translucent W A S D, and maybe the up, down, left , right?

I have an eyesight disability that makes using normal keys, that are not backlite very hard to impossible.

The Steel Series are perfect for me as the white text on each key is coloured and I can program each key into zones that help me to use it.

The translucent ones are very hard for me to use as the actual letter on each key is blurred by the whole key being backlit rather than just the text on the key.

I understand from the Steel Series website that thier standalone gaming keys are replaceable and I belive they even sell sets of replacement keys.

But I could not find any information on Steel Series built into MSI laptops.
Maybe the W A S D, keys from a different MSI laptop with a Steel Series might fit?
For example, I know the MSI Stealth has Steel Series but there are no translucent keys, just the normal backlit.

Would be a bit of a blunder if they can not be replaced as gaming keys take a bit of a battering.

Any thoughts?

I don't think this can be replaced because the keyboard design for this model is standardized. Replacing it with a different design might cause unexpected issues due to compatibility problems. You can recheck with MSI Support.

This likely refers to keyboards sold by SteelSeries that allow key replacement. The keyboard on this laptop cannot be replaced. If it's confirmed that a single key cannot be replaced, you may need to use an external keyboard to resolve this issue.

I know this post is 9 months old now but for anyone with such an issue in future it's very easy to pop the Key-Caps off these boards & then do as I did & use a fine tip indelible black ink marker (Sharpie etc) & simply blackout the clear area from underneath. You need a reasonably steady hand but if you do accidentally cover part of the character then a very tiny bit of alcohol sanitiser hand gel on the tip of a wooden toothpick is perfect for cleaning away any errors.
To remove the Key-Caps- You only want to pop off the very top thin cap so it's best to use a proper key removal prying tool made of hard plastic to avoid any scratching, you can make your own but small kits that include a variety of useful tools can be bought very cheaply on Amazon, eBay, etc or at phone repair shops & market stalls, otherwise if you have a bit of your finger nails left as I do I can slide a nail beneath the side, top, or bottom of a key-cap & pop it off by sliding it up-down or left-right.
Don't go too deep beneath the cap (just a enough to catch under it's edge), If it seems to need much force & doesn't want to pop off you may have caught the white plastic sprung hinge/clip that's beneath the cap & that the cap clips onto so back out & try again to avoid breaking the hinge.
Replacing the caps is as simple as aligning it on that white hinge/clip & gently pressing down on the cap & giving it a slight wiggle until you feel & sometimes hear a little click as the connections lock into place, then go all around the key-cap pressing it down to ensure all 4 points have locked in.
