Hello Svet,
I am upgrading my MSI GT60 0NC laptop from GTX 670MX to GTX 1060M.
I haven't installed the new card yet because I'm not sure if it will work with my current BIOS. After doing some research online, I got the impression that a modified BIOS (or perhaps the hidden/unreleased .51X version) might be required to avoid black screens and ensure proper Nvidia Optimus support.
My system details:
Laptop: MSI GT60 0NC (MS-16F3)
Current BIOS: E16F3IMS.50X (updated from the original .50N to the latest published version)
Current EC: 16F3EMS1 ver. 5.03 (build 09/17/2012)
New GPU: GTX 1060M (MS-1WOU1 ver 1.0 from AliExpress)
OS: Windows 10 (Original laptop OS: Windows 8)
