Resetting the battery WAY too much!

Let me preface this with a note of, I absolutely love my Stealth GS66. Its super powerful and it gets my heavy 3D CAD work done. But...
From day 1, and getting worse (A daily event now) is the fact that I have to reset my battery (EC reset, think?) with a paper clip constantly. This is ridiculous. Its only 9 months old and the reset is out of control. If I do a "battery recalibration" its good for a week. And then back to the daily reset. I cant leave the house without a paper clip if I'm remote. I'm on a plug 99.5% of the time and have set the laptop to "sleep" when I close the lid. But still when I open it the next day...nothing. Reset again. And every time the bottom is hot! Why? Why is it generating heat when sleeping? I can hear the fans lightly running but it refuses to un-sleep. Sometimes I get a power light, white then amber, fans, but no display. Mostly its just completely unresponsive. And if by chance it does open, its a complete re-boot (not sleep), loosing any previously open work. Anyone else experiencing this?

Using:
win 10 pro
MSI Center installed
Steel Series GG - yea, one color.
All updated, all MSI compliant

Do you have the latest BIOS and EC firmware?
Can you share with us the specific problem?
1. Bottom is hot?
2. Fans are running when sleeping?
It seems the problem is related to modern standby. Which program did you execute before entering the moden standby mode?
have set the laptop to "sleep" when I close the lid
> What if set the laptop to "Hibernate"?
Which model of laptop do you have?

I cant find the EC firmware, only the BIOS appears in the download area.
Yes, the bottom is very warm while sleeping and it refuses to come out of sleep mode. Hibernate does the same thing.
The only thing that helps is a battery recalibration weekly, which is really not realistic.

I did notice that the MSI Center software was not really working. Its set for "Best for Battery" so it shouldn't charge past 60% but it always goes to 98-99%.
I'm not really impressed with the MSI Center so I shut it down. And guess what...No issues with the sleep lock-up. Yet.
So at this point I think the MSI Center software is pretty much garbage.

Regarding MSI Center problem, did you try clean installing MSI Center and have the latest version?
- [How To] Clean Install MSI Center (UWP)
But still when I open it the next day...nothing. Reset again.
> What does it mean? Reset what? Battery reset?
How do you know the battery is reset?
