Is there any chance to get Resizable BAR working on RTX 3070 VENTUS 2X OC? Still no VBIOS update available on Live Update utility.

Go to Dragon center -> Live update -> Advanced.
I updated the Vbios to 94.4.3A.40.65. But after all if I enable the resiazble bar in the BIOS than the MOBO (MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon (MS-7B17)) don't post.

I should do a CMOS clear and start without it.

Any idea?

Thank you!

I believe you must use dragon center to update vbios. Liveupdate won't do it.
That's helped me! Thank you! Finally I've got Resizable BAR feature is on. Nvidia site confused me, it says that for MSI I should use MSI Dragon Center OR MSI Live Update to update VBIOS. I've chosen Live Update because of smaller size.

Yep read you need to be UEFI firs convert Windows then set BIOS to UEFI
ReBar need UEFI to work

Glad to see you got it working. You can always uninstall dragoncenter once you are done. I did.....:)

Okay finally solved the resizable bar problem. In that case if there was no UEFI bootable device attached then I got black screen when switched on the Resizable bar.
At first I had to make a bootable Win10 UEFI installer then boot it from it. When it was booted restarted the system and switched on the resizable bar. I was able to install a new Win 10 onto an M.2 SSD in UEFI mode with GPT file system.
That was a hard work but succesfull! ;)

When you successfully update the Vbios there shouldn't be a new one available.
The update is running in an Ms-Dos window. You should press "y" several times to run the update well. At the end the live update it should indicate that the installation percentage is 100%. After it the system rebooting.
I do not have experience if the update is fail.

If you have an onboard graphics card too, try to disable it.

May you can check too if you have any other card in the 2nd pcie slot. In this case your Vga's PCI express speed is x8 instead of x16.

May you can check that you have admin rights and switch off antivirus softwares during the update.

Waiting for your feedback! ✌

Ok... i've tried like 15 times the Vbios just wont update. The Dos window comes up press Y key it does its thing and in the Dos window i see the words "successful" for a brief 3 secs then the PC reboots.

GPU is disable so enable in device manager. Dragon center and Live still bringing up bios when searching.

There is no answer that you have onboard graphics card which may disabled.

In my opinion you are having a unique problem. Second advise is to start windows in safe mode. And try the update in this mode. Maybe there is a problem with a driver.
Do you have any unknown device in the list of device manager?

May you can send a picture about gpu-z and would be useful ig you can take a picture about Aida64/gpu page.

Im using a B550 Tomahawk so no on board graphics. In safe mode Live Update will not run so i ran the Vbios update manually. It runs but it does nothing the screen dont flash and getting no successful message the window just closes.

Please check in Gpu-z the bus interface. It says the card can run on x16 4.0 and the status is x16 2.0. It could be bacuse the card is idle. If you click on the "?" question mark then a graphics will be started and the status should change to x16 4.0 because your Mobo support it.
If it doesn't go higher there could be another device on the Pci express line which is slowing down the speed and may interrupt the graphics card.
It can be possible that the Pciexpress speed just fixed to gen2 somehow.
Please check Pciexpress settings in bios too.

Waiting for your update!

GPU is in power saving/idle it does go to X16 4.0. Even disabling power saving the vbios will not install. I dont think the nvme should affect the install.
