Ridiculous Delta on MAG CORELIQUID 360R

I’ve been using a MAG CORELIQUID 360R on a x470 Gaming motherboard and even after adding 3 extra fans to the radiator to give a push pull configuration and putting the fans at 75% speed I’m still getting a ludicrous 84 degrees under load on the CPU, and a more respectable 40 at idle.
I have 2 140mm exhaust fans on the top of the case, 1 inlet at the back blowing cold air on the mosfet area, and 2 fans pushing cold air in from the bottom onto the graphics card and aiding the reduction of a slightly positive pressure environment in the case.

I’ve been watercooling PCs since 2002 and have never seen such a ridiculous temperature delta. I’m only cooling a Ryzen 3600 at stock clocks and it just seems crazy that there should be such a shift.

The pump did start making some noise around a month ago during boot, like it was producing cavitation but after I reseated the cpu block that has stopped. I’m now wondering it was an impeller issue and I’ve lost a blade or something within the system.

Can anyone shed any light on a method of fixing this, or do I just ditch the thing and buy a Coolermaster 360R instead. I’m really not impressed with the cooling solutions from MSI at the moment, and I’m concerned about that delta during gaming so much I have CPUZ open constantly on another monitor…

Any ideas from the collective greatly appreciated.

I’ve been told by support that the temperatures are within the expected range. The standard air cooler that came with the cpu was fitted yesterday, and it performed better than the water cooler with 6 fans on it.

New AIO ordered and this one is going in the bin. Seriously unimpressed with the customer service of MSI, won’t be buying another MSI product again.
