With my couple of months old MSI CX62 7QL, I have decided to try one of my favourite competitive games, the rising star of online gaming, Rocket League. I have got 8 giga byte DDR 4 RAM, Intel Core i5-7200U CPU 2.50 giga hertz CPU, an Nvidia 940 MX 2GB graphics card on this laptop.

Plot: A sequel for the console game Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, in this game, cars are playing soccer on a field with a giant, floaty ball.

Gameplay: As you can see in the youtube video that I will share, in the game, we assume the control of a custom made car and play soccer in a two versus two, three versus three, four versus for, or one versus one setting. There are also other modes, like the basketball mode and the ice hockey mode, to name a few. It is a very fast paced game, where we can pick up "boost" to go faster and to fly in the air to score absurd goals. There are casual and competitive modes, competitive mode comes with ranks such as bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, champion, and grand champion. At the end of every season, depending on your rank, you get rewards to customize your car with, for instance, the season 6 ended yesterday and they gave wheels that denote your previous season's rank. There are also very big international competitions with thousands of dollars worth of prize pools for the game. MSI sponsors some Rocket League teams even, as I remember. And watching the competitions on twitch will earn you even more in game items that you can use to customize your car as you please. There are also special customization items during christmas, halloween, et cetera.

There are also crates which you can open with keys to acquire more customization items, or use trading, or trade up.
I get about a steady 60-70 frames per second while I am playing on "quality" graphics settings, which you will see on the youtube video that I shot and will share the link of here. Yet, on "high quality" settings, the game is still very fluent, I get about above 50 frames per second.

The game is pretty cheap on Steam, and therefore a total must buy, if you are into co-op games, competitive games, cars, soccer, or basically even if you are just bored, this game is amazing. I don?t regret my decision to buy it at all and I play it everyday. Literally, I would probably be in a lot worse shape hadn't I started Rocket League. It helps me forget about the problems in my life, lol.
