So I have an issue where sometimes my laptop's screen won't display anything but the machine is actually booting, can hear the boot up noise etc. And if I connect an external monitor or TV it works fine and the windows display mode is set to duplicate in these modes, so it's not in Second screen only, but it's like it is, even though it's not in Windows.

Does anyone know what the actual issue is? Or what can I try please?

The actual model / specs are: 15.6" MSI GP66 Vector 12UGS-283UK, QHD, 165Hz, i7 12700H, 16GB DDR4, 1TB NVMe, 8GB RTX 3070 Ti, Win11

Thank you

Did you try updating your Intel iGPU drivers?

Thank you for the links. The Intel iGPU driver was from 2022, so I did update it but it's still acting the same.

When I go to identify the displays, it shows them like this, yet there is no image on the internal display.
Did you try using the same refresh rate and resolutions with both screens?
ex: 1920x1080, 60hz on both?

Did you try to refer to Notebooks FAQs, Guides and Video Tutorials(Display/ Graphics) to do some software troubleshooting?
If the methods from the link are not working, it is suggested to check if the display is detected under device manager.
If the system can not detect the display, it is suggested to repair it.
