I bought a PRO Z790-P 32Gb memory and 2 X M.2 1Tb drives. I wanted to report a serious bug with the BIOS that came with the MB but your SUPPORT section makes it SO DIFFICULT that I gave up!
Hopefully I can report it here!
I connected it all up and went into the BIOS…. Everything showed up - i5, 32Gb memory and 2 X M.2 drives. I wanted t setup a RAID mirror with my M.2 drives so I clicked on RAID, The M.2 drives then came up as “Not present”. Clicked off RAID and the M.2 drives came back up…. Again and again. So I had to proceed without (Hardware) RAID and continued with my Windows 11 load.
i switched on Windows mirroring but that is second best.
since I couldn’t jump through all the hoops in your support system I tried to see if my BIOS was current? That too was very difficult to do! SUPPORT asks SO MANY questions which must perfectly conform to an unacheivable standard!

M2_1 is running off the CPU and the other ones are off the chipset. This might be why you can't do your RAID.

Okay! Is that by design or oversight!? If design, shouldn’t it be mentioned in the manual!? Is it a bug or a feature!? Is it going to be fixed or not!?
If feature shouldn’t the BIOS suppress the RAID option when it detects the M.2(s)!? If I had known this before I bought the MB I wouldn’t have purchased it!
In which case should RAID be available on ports 2, 3 and 4!?
Could I get an official response from MSI!?

The controller switch to IRST controller, hence, in M.2 page it will not show the drive.
Check under Advanced\IRST page to see if your drives are listed.

There is no Official response in these forums, it's just user to user.
You will need to contact them directly for anything official:
