I recently bought the X870 Tomahawk to use with a 9800x3d and Corsair 2x16Gb 6000CL30 EXPO (CMK32GX5M2B6000Z30) but I'm having lots of issues...
Frequent crashes (windows sometimes shows "Clock watchdog timeout" BSOD, sometimes no blue screen), my NVME drives sometimes disappear (I need to turn off the power completely, a reboot isn't enough to show it again) making the OS unable to boot and I could not get the Wifi to work.

Today during a reboot there was a warning that the hardware changed so I press F1 to open the bios and the EXPO profile simply disappeared! I exit the bios, boot the system and now it only shows 4Gb of RAM?!? The system is very slow too.
I'm using the latest bios, but it isn't stable, please advise.

1. Never. The post above nailed it why. To add to that the experience with customer support is very lacklustre. They don't know how to deal with a customer.
2. Probably Gigabyte.
What I will say when I’ve been looking around is several boards on EBay, namely RMA replacement boards people are selling. Does make me wary thus think I’m going to skip the Tomahawk this generation. Shame, features are top notch.

The X870 Tomahawk is one of the better-selling models. This means that you are more likely to find problem reports in forums. In fact, the RMA rates seem to be very low - even lower than comparable boards from competitors.
I know some people in this thread are accusing me of being an MSI fanboy or even being paid by MSI. Both statements are false. My statements are based on my own experience with the board, the RMA rates of the retailer Mindfactory in Germany and the numerous test and experience reports all over the Internet.

Your statements, some might call them fairy tales, are still wrong. They have been refuted several times by various people. But that doesn't interest you.

You like to throw insults around, but unfortunately you never really get specific in your arguments.
Are there any shortcomings with the current BIOS? Yes, without a doubt. Do they prevent me from using the board? No.

By the way, I didn't invent the RMA quota, but you can look it up at the aforementioned retailer (up to date: 1190 sold, RMA quota 0,67%).
There you can also see that it is one of the X870 boards with the highest sales figures.
The statement that the board gets very good reviews on the net (not only from testers) is also not an invention of mine.
But I have certainly understood that you yourself are dissatisfied with the board and anyone who does not share your opinion is a fanboy, gossip, ...

Look I have asked before to play nice and not squabble but it keeps happening.
Now I can either go through and delete or edit posts or I can do it the easy way
lock the post or Ban people
Now I understand it is frustrating when your hardware is not working as expected but I am not in the mood for Squabbles.

Critise the Board if you're not happy but be nice about it.
