Should we be worried about the GPU cracking tab?

So, this might be just an unnecessary worry of my part, but I watched the latest video of Jayz2cents and Northridge Fix where they talk about the cases of pcb cracking on that little tab where the lock on the motherboard is on the gigabyte 3080 and 3090's, and it seems there are some cases on 4000 series as well (but it seems just gigabyte are using crap pcb and refusing warranty) and I just wondered if our heavy 4090s and 4080 could run the same risk, I have a 4090 suprim X btw.

What video? I'm honestly not sure or aware of what you're talking about. How about a link? Or more information or something?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it at all, at least not with any decent motherboard from MSI.
Looking at all of MSI's Z790 motherboards.....every single one of them has the 'armor plated' PCI-e x16 slot for the top GPU, at a minimum, and many have all the x16 slots 'armored' like that. Very low likelihood that it will break.

This video:
Its about the gpu pcb breaking, not the motherboard.
as you can see why the Gigabyte ones where doing it as they Had Square cut the notch and that will add alot of stress in the corners but MSI use the lower Type so you have no issues there.

Nope, it is just Jay Jumping on the bandwagon again as usual.

yep and that shape is actually really bad by a mechanical Stress point as it lets stress accumulate in the corner so will crack easily as a result compared to a smooth curve.
