Software Compatibility

I bought a Stealth 16 AI Studio AIV at the end of last year. It's a great laptop. I spent four weeks travelling in Thailand over Christmas and New Year, and it stood up to a lot of abuse.

I'd like to see if anyone could tell me if the AI Artist, Creator Center and MSI AI Engine are compatible with this model. My expectation was that the Studio models would bridge the gap between gaming and content creation.

The model meet the requirement of AI Artist, CPU newer than Intel 13th gen + GPU Nvidia RTX 4050 or above.

The model supports MSI Center as an utility and it includes MSI AI Engine in the software, Creator Center is the previous version on MSI Content creation laptops.
You can search and download MSI Center in Microsoft store.
BTW, your model, Stealth series, is a gaming series laptop.

I’m very sad with my new laptop. I bought a Vector with 275HX and 5080 / 64GB RAM. The sole purpose was to use it in CAD and design applications. But I had many other options. What caught my interest was the MSI AI ARTIST app. It seemed amazing and it was only meant to work with the newer, most powerful laptops. It’s supposed to work minimum with 13th gen processors, RTX 40 series and up, 16GB RAM, etc. When my laptop arrived, I immediately proceeded to install it. I tried many ways and it always said “hardware not supported”. When I decided to contact MSI for technical support, I got the most absurd response:



“Welcome to MSI Global Online Technical Support Centre, we are happy to be of service to you.



After our enquiry, your Vector 16 HX AI A2XWIG does not support the use of MSI AI ARTIST, so it cannot be installed.



Thank you for your understanding.”



So, for everyone interested in that app, it only works with old laptops… There is no point in buying a new and expensive one since it won’t run it. Very sad. I really feel cheated…

Well that sucks with a bit of Luck MSI Software Developtment will do an update for it
As I would expect it to work perfectly with your Laptop
Looking at the details, it is only the GPU support that needs to be added

Sadly it seems it only works with 40 series cards
WIth a bit of luck MSI will fix this for the end users.
