Solutions to majority of problems related to Restore/ Recovery / MSI F3 factory Reset

It will be better if you posted in english, But as far as translation goes, seems like you were able to achive the recovery.
And you are also wondering if it is possible or not to get that msi recovery option in windows winre recovery mode, right? It is possible, you have to edit the current winre.wim and add additional msi files.
I will upload latest winre with msi recovery option at archive.org in future. but meanwhile if you really want, you can use the old version. This file will get updated by windows update itself in future on your pc.

Link to old winre

Thank you, I will try it and share my experiences.

I tried Winre.win. It worked and created a "Restore MSI Factory Settings" in the Windows Recovery partition. I also checked if it only worked in English and it worked perfectly. Thank you very much.

Is it possible to make it Turkish? For example, could it be Turkish by changing the "xml" content to Turkish?

I'm also eagerly awaiting the new updated WinRE.

I have a question: we created a "BIOS Rvy," handled "Winre," and completed "Restore MSI Factory Settings" using F3. But when I turn on the computer and open "MSI Center," why is the "backup-recovery" section missing? Did "MSI Center" not like the work we did?

I wanted to create a USB backup using "backup-recovery" in "MSI Center." Is that possible?

extract to windows folder of c drive, restart, you will get the option.

Reinstall the msi center so that the placed file can be updated for windows 11.

C sürücüsünün Windows klasörüne çıkarın, yeniden başlatın, seçeneği elde edeceksiniz.

MSI Center'ı yeniden yükleyin ki yerleştirilmiş dosya Windows 11 için güncellenebilsin.
I'm very sorry, it's not working. In the MSI recovery window, I select USB recovery, it recognizes the USB and I select it, the "Next" button becomes active, but unfortunately, when I click "Next," it doesn't respond. Also, it gives an error saying "burn recovery function not found" while creating the ISO.

I'm wondering where I went wrong, or is it because the program belongs to "MSI Dragon Center" and it doesn't work on my computer? Could you please check and suggest a solution?

After a few attempts, I finally succeeded:

1- I reinstalled the computer, installed MSI 2.0.63, but experienced the same problem.

2- I found and downloaded MSI Center version 2.0.35. This time, the backup-recovery section worked, and I was able to create a system backup to a USB drive.

Thank you very much for your efforts.

I wanted to share another experience I have with F3 in case it might be helpful.

After destroying the BIOS RVY and WinRE partitions on my MSI Vector 17 HX AI computer, as a last resort, I performed a clean Windows 11 installation by thoroughly reading the tutorial on the "BSL K" website: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?...restore-recovery-msi-f3-factory-reset.373606/ and using the aforementioned disk configuration. I also created the F3 MSI recovery partition using https://archive.org/details/MSI-WinRe. Since it was a clean installation, I created the BIOS RVY partition as well, and then created install.swm partitions with Dism++ to create my own recovery partition. However, the WinRE published on https://archive.org/details/MSI-WinRe. was in English and belonged to an older version of Windows 11.

Because I'm a bit of a curious person, yesterday I installed the English version of Windows 11 22H2. After installing it, WinRe disappeared. I can re-install it from https://archive.org/details/MSI-WinRe. I created WinRE, changed the computer's language to Turkish, but WinRE remained in English. Then, to get the 25H2 update, I downloaded the Windows 11 version from its website and extracted it to the desktop using WinRAR. I manually started the Windows 11 installation, my goal was to update the computer to 25H2. The installation continued, and after the installation finished, it gave a warning that the computer would restart and the language would change. I accepted, the computer restarted, and when I checked the computer, I saw that it had been updated to version 25H2 26200.7462. Interestingly, when I restarted the computer and entered the F3 section, I saw that WinRE had been updated and was in Turkish. While the WinRE I used previously (https://archive.org/details/MSI-WinRe) was 530MB, after the update I made, the size of WinRE had increased to approximately 850MB. If anyone needs it, I uploaded the recovery_20251222 from archive.org. They can download and use it from here, but remember the language is TURKISH, and it hasn't been tested on another computer, just so you know.

Google Translate; please forgive any errors I may have made.

Interesting that the WinRE size went from 530 MB to 850 MB after the update. Looks like the latest version includes more components and supports localization. Good info for anyone looking to build their own recovery partition. I’d also recommend double-checking that the new WinRE is compatible with your laptop model and making a backup of the old recovery partition just in case something goes wrong during the update.
Thank you for your suggestion. I reinstalled the system twice using F3, and it worked flawlessly and completely. Thank you.

Good evening.

I wanted to reinstall my MSI Vector 17HX AI A2XWJG computer via USB. Something strange happened, and I'd appreciate it if anyone with knowledge could enlighten me.

1- After backing up my system with a USB 3.0 Hikvision flash drive, when I try to reinstall, I get a "Reagentc.exe Error" and it won't restore, corrupting the system. (I've tried this at least 20 times, and it's always the same.)

2- When I restore a backup made with a USB 2.0 Sandisk drive, I encounter no problems; only the system restore takes 20-30 minutes. (I've tried this at least 5-6 times, and it was successful every time.)

I've tried this maybe 10 times, and it's always the same. Thinking it might be a system issue, I tried changing the system and tried again, but it's still the same. There's no problem with USB 2.0, but USB 3.0 consistently gives the "Reagentc.exe Error." Now that I think about it, I backed up my computer's original recovery partition using a USB 3.0 drive. Could that be the reason it's corrupted?
If anyone has any information on this, I'd appreciate a reply. Thank you all in advance.

Open a new threat about this. This is a problem with your system (and / or your USB ports or drives) and has imho nothing to do with with recovery.
Do you have entries in the Event Viewer when you try to use this USB 3 sticks?

Thank you for your answer. I would like to remind you again that I relied on translation as I don't know English, and I apologize in advance for any mistakes I may have made.
- Initially, I thought it was a system problem, so I performed a clean installation of Windows 11 5-6 times and created a recovery partition on the computer. No matter how many times I tried, the result was the same; I kept getting the same error with the USB 3.0.

- I don't know if there are any errors with the USB drivers, but I always keep my system updated, and my drivers appear to be up-to-date now.

- Also, I didn't understand what you meant by "(Do you have entries in the Event Viewer when you try to use this USB 3 sticks?)". It's probably due to the translation.

Modern systems are logging almost everything. The "Event Viewer" is a Windows program to view this logs.
As a example from my Linux system:
Code:
Jan 07 22:36:55 Kuroshio root[2904762]: ACPI group/action undefined: jack/headphone / HEADPHONE
Jan 07 22:36:55 Kuroshio gsd-media-keys[5032]: Unable to get default sink

Head phones pugged out - headphones plugged in.
Hope this makes it a bit more clear.

I bought a new flash drive, added there files from above links to it, and then I tried to boot from it, but I got an error: "Reagentc.exe set OS image false"
