Please who help me, I recently bought the GTX 980M to update my old gtx675m on my notebook MSI GT70 OND, but the INTEL GRAPHICS HD 4000 sees a code error 12, and I try many things to fix this error when I install nvidia Windows10 drivers restart and freeze on the Windows logo, but the system keeps working, I see the HDD LED flashing , so I use another computer to access remotely using the Anydesk program, and there is my system working, but the error code 12 continues.... I look forward to your help. Thank you
Thats my system

BIOS E1762IMS.30C
EC:1762EMS1 Ver4.05
VGA Card:GTX980m 8GB
VBIOS:84.04.85.00.0A

Are you sure the GTX 980M is compatible with your laptop?
Try to clean install the latest Intel and Nvidia graphics drivers with DDU.
If the problem still remains, I suggest you change back the GTX675M to check whether the problem is the new graphics card.

I suppose your problem is the BIOS - it's a Windows 7 and I suppose there never was such modified to work over 7.xx Nvidia models. Windows 8 BIOS has been upgraded to 51X / 71X to work with cards upto 1070. I've seen comments that flashing to 51X / 71X has succeeded - and comments that they have bricked their systems. Ask our administrator Svet, he has done those modified BIOSes and knows about upgrading.

hi, thanks to reply, if you go to https://eurocom.com/ec/upgrade(2,379,0)MSI_GT70_0ND there is a GTX980m to my model notebook, is only INTEL GRAPHICS problems, becouse the vídeo card is there see the Picture.thats my GPU-Z and the device manager there a intel problem
In this case, I suggest you try to reset BIOS settings by pressing F9 and also perform an EC reset.
Then reinstall Intel and Nvidia graphics drivers with DDU tool.

MSI GT 60, WINDOWS 7, I7 4800MQ, MS16F4. ... Received new card and installed it with nvidia drivers and everything worked ... I've tried all control panel setting, run with nvidia graphics, ... There is no problem to upgrade GT70 (Ivy Bridge) GTX 680M to 980M - but a BIOS upgrade is needed to 51X/71X.
