how do I remove the core clocks and perf long line of data? I have been through all of the settings in Riva and Afterburner, uninstalled and reinstalled with Revo uninstaller to rid of all installation files etc... I don't know what else to do... thanks in advance.

Go to the monitoring tab of the Afterburner properties and uncheck the cpu usage and clockrate monitoring for any core (cpu0 -)
