Hi,

Today I checked the memory clock frequency on RivaTuner, it appear that it's at 400 Mhz :

All the rest is absolutly normal, performances don't appear to be bad, so what's happening ? Why does this memory clock is so low ?
The Nvidia website says that it's supposed to be at 700 Mhz, 300 Mhz drop ? Or is there some trick ?
http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_8600M.html

Even the 8600M GS is at 700 Mhz, so why mine is at 400 Mhz ?

Thanks in advance for answers

400MHz, means 800MHz effective

Uh ? if it doesn't bother you, can you explain me more ? There is a multiplier like for CPUs ? It mean that MSI has already overclocked the card from 700 to 800 Mhz ? (I had never overclocked it)

What you see there, is the real memory operation frequency 400MHz.
You should multiply that freq. by two, to gain the effective freq. DDR{Double Data Rate}

"It mean that MSI has already overclocked the card from 700 to 800 Mhz ?"

Yep, instead 350MHz, MSI works at 400MHz.
