[SOLVED] MSI Center on MSI MEG Z590 Ace Increases CPU Temps by 15C-20C

As the title states, installing MSI Center on my MSI MEG Z590 Ace causes my cpu temps to spike between 15C-20C on idle. Only reason I want MSI Center is to use Mystic Light. As soon as I uninstall MSI Center and the MSI SDK and reboot my temps go back to normal. I tried blocking all MSI services and processes i found from startup but it still ramps up those temps. I set the lighting to what I want it and uninstalled it all for now.

So I figured out my issue. So when you install MSI Center it does change the power plan, but this change alone is not what causes the temperature spike. If you use MSI Center as well as Corsair iCue an MSI plugin for MSI Motherboard is activated on iCue when installing MSI Center in order to control attached lighting to the motherboard (it does not control the on board rgb, just the stuff connected to the corsair header). So I went into iCue and disabled plugins and that brought down the CPU usage and temperature. Not sure who needs to fix this but there is an issue between these two programs.

Afaik MSI center changes Windows power plan. You can try to reset it to "Ryzen balanced".

So without MSI center I'm using ultimate power plan and my cpu idles just fine. I install MSI center and reboot. Temp spikes. Then I go to power options and restore defaults in my power plans and set it to ultimate power and reboot. Temp spike is still there. Anything I can do about it? Thanks in advance.

all DC contains custom setup for BIOS/windows !
same like DC on MSI NB

for fully custom setup /bios native .,,.remove all this bloatware

Yeah, wish they had a stand alone mystic light. That's the only reason I want this on my pc.

Are you using iCue 4? Have you tried iCue 3?

I am using icue 4. Have not tried icue 3 on this motherboard but on my z490 with Dragon Center and icue 3 the same thing happened but I just uninstalled dragon center. I did not try to troubleshoot it so I'm not positive it's the exact same thing.
