I have a fresh build and it won't boot:

My components are:
MSI PRO B650-S WIFI AM5
AMD Ryzen 5 9600x
Arctic 3 280 Cooler
Flare X G.Skill RAM 32 GB 6000Mhz DDR5
Thermaltake 850 Watt 80 Gold Plus power supply
Asus RTX 4070 Super
NZXT H5 Flow case

When I start the PC all fans and everyting turn, however the EZ Debug LED is RED constantly as well as DRAM is Yellow constantly.
I also noticed that the GPU has a red LED shining for a while and disappears after a few Seconds.

First the RAM was put into the wrong slots initially which I noticed, according to the Motherboard it should be Slot 2 and 4 and I had it in 1 and 3. I changed that and it didnt work.
Additionally, I tried to swap the RAMS and also pressed already quiet hard on them, because apparently the construction of the motherboard might not be optimal for DDR5 according to some forums, however that didnt change anything either (nothing broke ;D) - the click sound and came and I put a little pressure on it thats it-

I tried to boot it up with only one RAM Stick and it also didnt work.

For now I am suspecting an BIOS Version issue, however I dont really know IF that is the case neither do I know how to update it correctly.
When I put the CPU into the socket, it was quiet easy and I didnt notice any bended pins or anything like that either, I only had trouble installing the head of the watercooler so the thermal paste was spread around the CPU, that is the only thing where I could imagine that its not optimal, but nevertheless I had worse builds in regard to thermal paste and I had no issue so far and technically, it shouldn't make any difference, since its only to transfer temperature.

Any other suggestions or did anybody have some kind of similar experience?

If i posted this in the wrong thread I am sorry for it in advance, its my first time askins about something like this in a forum.

Edit/Solution:

BIOS Update fixed the issue, make sure that the USB Stick is formatted in FAT32 and is not using GPT formatting - it shouldb MBR.
Download the newest driver for the respective motherboard from the website, unzip it and then rename the file, which is NOT ending with txt, to MSI.ROM (there is also a youtube video from msi usa, which u can follow). If you are not using MSI motherboards, make sure you check the filename it needs to be depending on the manufacturer.

Copy the file into the formatted usb stick and insert it into the Flash BIOS USB Port, that can vary from motherboard to motherboard, just check it in the manual or look for markings on the I/O Shield.
Only turn on the PSU and press the flash button for a few seconds and make sure that after you pressed it that the LED next to the flash button blinks (color in this case is irrelevant, mine was white - some are red), if it doesnt that means that the BIOS is not updating and you will have to trouble shoot in regards to whether the usb stick is formatted correctly and in worst case have hardware issues.

Just to make it very clear again, dont turn on the PC with the Button of the case while updating the BIOS otherwise it wont flash the BIOS and you might be in a endless loop of trying to update the BIOS. You only turn on your PSU and press the Flash button - I made this mistake and it took me hours to find out that I did it wrong -_-.

The Flash LED should blink around 4-10 min afterwards, depending on your case you will probably have to shutdown your PC via holding the ON/OFF button on the case, since it didnt boot automatically after the update.

Afterwards hopefully if you dont have any hardware issues your cpu and ram should be detected and if you are a little unlucky you will have the boot device not detected (GREEN LED) and a black screen like me, in that case I advise you to try it on a different monitor or use different cables. In my case it didnt work with HDMI on my 60hz 4K Samsung monitor, which is only an office monitor, but with my AOC 144 hz Monitor with the DisplayPort cable it worked instantly and I could enter the UEFI and change the booting order.

I hope this explanation helps some of you guys, I ve been reading stuff since yesterday after assembling my new PC and this were the issues I had while having EZ DEBUG LED on RED and DRAM on yellow.

Thanks for informative sharing. I think here is the MSI USA video link you mentioned about BIOS Flash button.
Just add it for quick reference.

Hi kadirdemi153f02dc ,
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 (with No overclocking)
Memory: 1×16GB DDR5 (G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL32 Desktop RAM Silver)
Storage: Kingston KC3000 1TB NVMe SSD
PSU: GAMDIAS HELIOS M1-550B 550W 80 Plus Bronze
Operating System: Windows 11 25H2

I have faced the same issue,
My PC had been running normally for approximately 1.9 years without any hardware issues.
One day, when I pressed the power button, the system suddenly failed to boot.
The symptoms were:
  • • CPU (Red) and DRAM (Yellow) EZ Debug LEDs remained ON continuously.
  • • No display output.
I have to submit my PC to the shop from where I bought it.

  • My Question to you:
I can see that you faced this issue back in December 2024 and managed to resolve it. Since then, have you experienced this issue again with the motherboard? Have you faced any other issues with this motherboard afterward? And are you still using the same motherboard currently?

I have to submit my PC to the shop from where I bought it.

They have made some very questionable decisions:

1) Opting for a single module of 16 GB RAM, which puts the memory system into single-channel mode and cuts the RAM bandwidth in half. So your DDR5-6000 basically has the bandwidth of DDR5-3000. For 16 GB total, it would be much better to use a kit of 2x 8 GB.

2) A very low-end PSU model, ranked as "Tier E • Avoid" on the PSU Tier List, using a cheap and outdated design with low-end components. See my PSU guide.

If the PC is still within warranty after almost two years, then yes, just bring it to them and have them fix it. But I would probably not buy another PC from them.
