[Solved] No Signal, Access to BIOS

Hello!

Yesterday i saw that Windows downloaded and installed a “Micro-Star INT'L CO., LTD – System – 1.0.0.XX” update and today I can’t use my pc anymore.

If I click the power button it starts, but it gets no signal using DP, HDMI;
I don’t even hear through the headset that windows starts;
And the main board (MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC) has a red LED on VGA.

So I expect that my main board now has issues because of the above mentioned update? It’s the only thing I can think of.

What can I do to solve the issue?

Alright. I will try tomorrow.
A friend of mine has an old pc with an 5 2600X so it wouldn’t be hard for me to borrow it. Because the cpu manages the PCIE lines? Maybe there is a problem?

Combining the gpu of my brother and the different psu shouldn’t change something? Doesn’t the Rx 6800 take more power or is my own psu enough for that build?

Yes, if you can borrow a CPU, do that, it supplies the PCIe lanes for the first PCIe slot. You could test the GPU in a different PCIe slot, but then again, it has to work in the first slot in the end. It could merely give a hint to test the CPU. Anything you can easily test, do it.

The Straight Power 11 is a nice model, and during POST/boot, the GPU doesn't pull that much power, the PSU isn't really challenged in any way. The only way the PSU could've caused it was if the voltages or something else was so off that the GPU basically acted as if it had no PCIe power connected. But that's pretty much ruled out now, I'd think.
