Heads up: MSI BIOS download link error (DDR4/WIFI DDR4)
I think there’s a typo on the BIOS page. The DDR4 and WIFI DDR4 versions have the same hash values as the older one, and the link is messed up.
If you're trying to download it, change the end of the URL from "7D42v1Ozip" to ".zip" and it'll work. I’ve updated my WIFI DDR4 board with it, and everything seems stable so far.

Is it okay to just stick with the latest BIOS version?

"It would be great if the BIOS details on the official website could be revised."

WOW. I honestly do not know what exactly changed with this BIOS update, but it completely transformed my system.

Before this update I was on BIOS 1N0, and after updating I noticed a massive improvement in AIDA64 cache and memory benchmark results with no CPU ratio or ring ratio tuning at all. The only thing I changed was my RAM overclock.
What really surprised me is that this board now gives me better memory-related performance than my previous Gigabyte Z690 DDR4 setup, even though I expected the opposite.
It feels like this BIOS somehow improved the overall memory training or platform behavior, because the system suddenly seems much more refined and better balanced. I was not expecting such a strong gain from a BIOS update plus RAM tuning alone.
I will attach before and after screenshots from AIDA64 for comparison.
Before: BIOS 1N0
After: latest BIOS update

Really impressive result on the B660M Mortar DDR4.
