Thanks for the information.
I guess I'll be avoiding this for now, as I don't want TPM enabled by default.

Well since I'm on Windows 7 and have no intention of going to Windows 11, it seems to be much more bother than it's worth for me. For those individuals planning on upgrading to Windows 11, I can see that it would make things easier to have the option pre-enabled in the bios.

OK well that went quite well TMP is enabled as well as Secure Booty, Yay for not having to do several Re-boots to set up the BIOS for WIN 11, I got it all done in a single session but it appears that they forgot to Enable SVM and that Ram Setting IOMMU it is set to AUTO and not Enabled but so far was the easiest BIOS setup I have had to do for WIN 11

I dose not think you will like it all that much is good for win 11 but i think several extra steps will have to be done in bios for them who not want it.

VDDG IOD/CCD is broken in AGESA 1.2.0.4?

These voltages are now capped @1v, irrespective of inputting a higher value than 1v.

This is a huge spanner in the works for those of us who run high FCLK....

Fail to understand how all motherboard manufacturers have released these bios with IOD/CCD bugged in such a manner...

Prolly cause you're looking at the wrong people to blame......might wanna figure out who designed this stuff and start looking at them.....they've been screwing up BIOS's for 5 (actually, 8 now) generations of CPU's now.....

I saw the wccftech article but can't find any reference to the new BIOS on the MSI support pages. Are these links trustworthy? Where did MSI publish them? And why haven't the product support pages been updated with the latest BIOS.

Thanks!

Actually, my post was a question, I did not associate any "blame" in that post.

But seeing thats what you want to hear I will make my outlook clear.

Being the provider of the AGESA, obviously AMD has a significant role to play in the "blame game" and seeing that its not just MSI (something that I made perfectly clear in my post) all fingers point to AMD.

Now..... I also made it clear in my post, that I did not understand why the manufacturers decide to release a BIOS with IOD/CCD "broke" as compared to previous BIOSs.

As I am in no position to know what stipulations exist in how OEM must act according to agesa updates etc etc, but from my POV, both AMD and the OEMs have a portion of responsibility in this, hence the reason for my question.

Hope thats made things clear for you ....

At the moment they are aimed at Window 11 users as it enables what is need for win11 like TPM and secure boot So far have not had a problem with the BIOS
