I'm nearing completion of a build with an MSI Z790 Tomahawk. Where does the little motherboard speaker get connected, or is there on already on the mobo?
Is it just me, or is that single sheet of directions virtually worthless?

Replying to myself. After searching extensively, I found what's below. They yellow highlighting is from the webpage.

"An MSI Z790 motherboard has a small, built-in "PC speaker" which is a tiny speaker on the motherboard that generates audible beeps to provide feedback during boot-up or when there are hardware errors, allowing users to hear alerts without needing external speakers connected.

Key points about the MSI Z790 motherboard speaker:

  • Function: Primarily used for system error beeps during POST (Power On Self Test).
  • Location: Usually found near the bottom of the motherboard, close to the battery connector.
  • Connection: No need to connect any cables as it is directly integrated with the motherboard.
Generative AI is experimental."
