Spraypaint part of MSI z690-a pro

Hi, wondering if the red circled part is part of the heatsink or not and if it can be spraypainted without reducing heat dispersion? The motherboard is a MSI z690-a pro ddr4

As for spraypainting it, i don't know if that would necessarily impede the heat dissipation so much as it would void the warranty.

Most likely it will slightly impede the heat dissipation. It would also void the warranty.

Really, it would depend on how heavy and thick of a coat of paint you'd be putting on it.

Some boards do come with Vinyl stickers to be placed on top of the heat sink as decoration
