HELLO, I HAVE MSI KATANA GF76 12UE-055, I WANTED TO KNOW IF THE KINGSTON FURY RENEGADE 2TB SSD IS COMPATIBLE WITH MY NOTEBOOK MODEL, BECAUSE THE KINGSTON FURY RNEGADE 2TB SSD IS DOUBLE SIDED, THE SSD ALREADY ASSEMBLED FROM THE FACTORY IN MY NOTEBOOK WAS SINGLE SIDED WHICH WAS JUST 512 GB, I HAVE INSTALLED DOUBLE SIDED KINGSTON FURY RENEGADE 2TB, WAS RECOGNIZED BY THE SYSTEM AND WORKED WELL WITH HIGH SPEED OF 7000 MB READ AND WRITE,BUT I REMOVED WITH THE FEAR THAT IF I MAY HAVE THE PROBLEM FOR THE COMPATIBILITY WITH THE MOTHERBOARD AS IT IS DOUBLE SIDED SSD ,CAN YOU ADVISE ME THAT IF THE KINGSTONE FURY RENEGADE 2TB DOUBLE SIDED SSD IS COMPATIBLE WITH MY MODEL? DOES DOUBLE SIDED OR SINGLE SIDED SSD MATTER FOR MY NOTEBOOK MODEL? THANK YOU

it doesn't matter if its single or Double Sided for SSD's its fine. all that means if it has chips on both side to make up the Density it makes no Difference to the Computer at all it will just pull a few Watts more power that is all.

thank you for the reply, one more thing i noticed while installing this double sided ssd that as the tharmal pad is little thick the ssd is getting little bend whle tighting the screw ,i think as the ssd is having chips on both sides its because of this? it was fine with preinstalled single sided ssd,the ssd was installed well and straight ,should i make the tharmal pad little thin ?any advise?

if you can remove the thermal Pad and Replace it with one that is like 2-2.5mm thick if its soft even better as it will squish down a bit.
