Hello guys,

I'm posting for the 1st time here and I would like to ask for an advice regarding my problem with SSD RGB and MysticLight (probably after the latest update).

Mobo: MSI x470 GAMING PRO MAX
SSD: ADATA XPG S40G 512gb M.2 x 2

Do you guys have any idea how to fix my SSD's to reappear into MysticLight so I can change the RGB effects? I have also tried with their (ADATA) own rgb app, but nothing changes when I press Apply, even if I try to shut the lights off.

Everything else is working just fine... 4 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM, 6 x case fans, 2 x CPU cooler fans.

Thank you very much!

@teletubby_po, thank you very much for your answer!

I just got home from work and read your reply. Unfortunately I don't have Dragon Center. Since the begging, when I bought this mobo, I use MSI APP Manager and getting every update through it (Live Update 6).
I will get now Dragon Center and install it after I remove APP Manager. I will also clear CMOS and re-plug the SSD's.
As for the BIOS, I do have the latest version (7B79vM6).

Thank you!

So, I did uninstall everything and install Dragon Center, clear CMOS, re-plug SSD's and nothing changed. Still the same problem.

Now I will re-install my Windows and let's see if there is something different. I will come back a bit later.

It worked after a fresh win10 install. Now I cannot see my RAMS on MysticLight :)
Also it doesn't let me install iCUE for them. "cab2.cab"file error...

I think I'm going to reinstall Windows again.

Done, I'm back :) Everything works ok now, but I don't understand why if I set the temp color effect in MysticLight (green on <50degrees ; yellow between 50-70 dregrees ; red >70 degrees) it does apply, but after restart/shutdown, when my pc boots up, the color is set to steady red...
Any advice please?

Thank you very much!

Do you have other applications installed as well? There might be some SW (Anti-virus, anti-cheat, firewall) interfere with Dragon Center
Also, it is known that your LED style will get back to default before dragon center starts, so you will need to add dragon center to startup application.

Sure, please find attached the log archive generated.

I do have iCUE for rams and XPG RGB software for SSD's.
When everything was ok and worked perfectly, my 5050 RGB strip and CPU radiator lights (not the fans... these are 5v argb and are connected through a 5v hub powered by sata) connected to mobo 12v rgb port, returned to the colors that were saved. Of course, after the MysticLight was starting. So it's now, Dragon Center is set to run at startup, but nothing is happening. It's just turning red (see picture attached).

do you have XPG software installed at the moment? i do not think it's a good idea to have multiple RGB control software installed at the same time except for iCUE because it's required to install so that Dragon Center can see corsair device. Can you uninstall XPG software for good?

Yes, I can do that and I actually even reinstalled Windows, but same thing without XPG software.

This is the problem now :) It's not like something "major"... but I have to set it back manually.

So, everything works just fine, except the fact that one 5050 RGB strip, connected directly to the mobo is not keeping its settings (proc temperature) after reboot.

If I understand you correctly, you're using an adapter to connect a 3 pin aRGB to the motherboard's 4 pin JRGB header?
And did you manage to install all three RGB control SW (Dragon center, iCUE, XPG) without the "cab2.cab"file error?
