Stealth A16 AI+ having constant USB-C PD disconnections when gaming

I use an Anker 100W USB C charger for reference.

I receive a System event with code 105 for Kernel-Power that indicates Power Source Change every few seconds when plugged in over USB-C. Changing to the quiet mode does help but I've still gotten 105's from it.

Does anyone know why this is happening? It makes it incredibly annoying to game on the go without bringing the much larger dedicated charger, since the system switching from "charging" to "battery" modes causes massive lag spikes.
 
I'm guessing because 100W isn't nearly enough power to supply the system when higher performance is demanded...
You didn't specify your model, but it looks like all Stealth A16 AI+ models feature at least a 95W GPU and are packaged with a 240W power supply.
 
That's true, but MSI advertises that a 100W PD charger is the only charger that will work when the system is on.

Besides, that doesn't explain the constant connect/disconnect
