I have a Stealth GS66 12UE-236CA - it seems -236CA part of the model name is because I've bought it in Canada- but if I am not mistaken it is the same as a Stealth GS66 12UE.

Today I download the latest BIOS from the MSI Canada site and followed the instruction for updating the BIOS. Everything was looking fine, the update progress bar was displaying the percentage increment and then boom, a black screen and everything frozen. Now, I press the power button, the keyboard leds turn on for a while and the laptop turns off. Nothing but a black screen.

I had E16V5IMS.10F BIOS version before trying the update. From the support webpage for my model (see attached file) I downloaded the latest version (E16V5IMS.110).

In case anyone asks, I have never used Bitlocker in the machine, and I checked it before the update. It was OFF.

Is there any way to flash the laptop in a similar way as the "Flash button" some desktop motherboards have?
Is the laptop definitely bricked or I can still have any hope?

Thanks for any help.

long press the power button for about 30 seconds, and you will the light beeping. Then try to see if it works (EC reset)

Just reinstall this BIOS update.
It seems you may have updated using a different BIOS file.

I cannot access the BIOS anymore, so I don't know if there is a way to install the BIOS in a different way. I saw somewhere that there might be a "blink flash" process, but I couldn't trigger it.
If you know a way to reinstall the BIOS without accessing the BIOS to use the M-Flash method, it will be very much appreciated.
I don't think I've updated the BIOS with the wrong file. If you look at the link I put in the original post, it points right to the page to my specific model, which is the "Stealth GS66 12UE-236CA" - I bought the laptop in Canada, so it is the Canadian model for the Stealth GS66.
