Steam wallet code not working

Hello,

I can't activate the Steam wallet code I earned from the MSI Twitch stream. Once again I won another giveaway. At that time, when I emailed them, they had given a Greenmangaming wallet code as a gift. However, in the e-mail sent now, they stated that the wallet code may not work and they cannot help.

If Steam wallet codes cannot be activated in every country, they can only tell citizens of the relevant country to participate in the giveaway, right? If they do so, we will not be usurping the rights of people who can use the wallet code.

Has anyone received an e-mail as I mentioned and found a solution? There's no point in sending an e-mail if they're not helping. I won't be participating in any giveaways anymore. Sometimes I have trouble understanding the policies of countries and companies. Instead of punishing only malicious people, they punish everyone.

Yes, but that is not MSI but Steam which limits where codes can be used.
And the hosts most likely do not have any idea where the keys can be used or if they are restricted to only some countries.
This is done to prevent People from other countries from buying and selling steam products in different locations.
Games do not cost the same in every country some countries get them quite cheaply at less than 50% of the USA retail price.
Steam needs to prevent the sale of games Keys purchased from these countries for sale to other countries where the game or product is not so heavily discounted,




Log out of Steam and then using a VPN set your location to USA log back into Steam and activate the code.

I have to do it with games Keys sometimes to get them to work with my Steam account once it is linked to your account after activating it should show when you turn off the VPN and use your normal location

Yes. It's the Steam company that made the restriction. MSI may specify in which countries the Steam wallet codes it has given as a gift in the giveaways can be used.
