Stuttering sound

I am having the same issue with my MSI Titan 18HX Norse Myth Dragon Edition. This issue was worst in 25H2, so I have to shift back to my Windows 23H2. In 23H2, It didn't stop but far better than 25H2. I am not getting my screen Freeze and audio lost. It sometimes happed and for only 1-2 sec. Rest working fine now in Windows 23H2.

This is the only fix I have got. That we need to downgrade our windows to 23H2.

Yeah.. I also tried win 11 ltsc (24h2) and it didn't work.. Only Linux fixed this issue permanently and completely, although it's difficult and not practical to use for most people..

yup, Linux isn’t really an option for 90% of us. For now, Windows 11 23H2 seems to be the best fix. The issue still exists, but it happens very rarely now. The last time I faced it was about a week ago, and the sound only stuttered for 1–2 seconds—no lag or major problem—so I’m okay with it for now.

However, we should still raise complaints with MSI. Does anyone know the best way to do that?

MSI already knows this issue, and it's been present for several months.. I'm not sure what the heck they are doing.. Some of the well-known forum members here are working in MSI as well..

You can start a ticket to MSI global support, but they aren't helpful and offer basic help.. Not sure what else we can do, as this is not a user error..

got this new Titan 18 HX AI A2XWIG for 2 months now, and still fighting the sound problem.

Attached is an MP3 zipped up, with the stutter, and that keeps going on and on.. Tech support tells me that i need to send in the laptop for repair, which i have a hard time believing, since i see others with the same problem.

Already did the following
1. Re-installed the laptop from Scratch
2. Re-installed all the drivers.
3. Updated all the drivers.
4. I had Norton before, but left it of this time, and it's still doing the same thing.
5. disabled most sound drivers, and still the same problem.
6. Re-installled Nihimic, but still the same
7. Sonar program is doing the exact same thing.
8. Removed Wireless Killer software.

I am running out of options here...
Any other thoughts?

So you still have audio issues? Is it possible to see a video of the laptop making bad audio? Did you see open event viewer or "view reliable history" to see what audio program is crashing b

i have the same issues on my studio 16 raised ti with MSI but they were terrible and shut it yesterday despite it not being resolved i have been describing as a buzzing noise , there are so many issues it seems with MSI stuttering / buzzing for so many i am so disappointed with MSI its the first time i used them my last was asus i am starting to regret my choice i have ended up opening a new ticket . i also raised it with vendor i bought from . i would be keen to know if anyone has actually managed to fix it ?

I experienced the same problem with my Vector 18 HX AI A2XWIG device, and all I did was change the intelliGo Audio Processing Object version. I haven't had any audio problems for months.

where did you find that driver? i don't see it on the MSI page. 100.1.4.2243 seems to be the latest

i found cab files here https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=intelligo&p=7
but no clue how to get those installed.
Download the driver and extract it to a folder. Then, go to Device Manager and find IntelliGo Audio Processing Object. Right-click and select Update Driver, then choose Browse my computer for drivers. Finally, select the driver folder you downloaded and extracted.

hi,
i'm trying your solution. I'll give you feedback. The first thing ,from the upgrade/modification, i'm noticing : the speakers sound is much better.
Thx
NB : i've a Vector 16HXAI A2XW (ultra9/rtx5080)

well it looks like the driver i got, is working... not a single crash or stutter.. and much better sound quality.. let's see how it performs today and tomorrow

3rd day now, and no problems... that new driver works awesome, it's a shame that MSI can't even support that, and telling people to send in their laptop for an RMA..
