Summit E13 Flip Evo - Randomly shuts down

For the past few months, I've had issues with my pc randomly turning off. Rarely this is triggered when the laptop is lightly bumped when placed down, but this is very hard to reproduce. The laptop won't switch back on unless plugged in again for at least a few seconds. I updated the BIOS and ran a battery calibration before and after that occurred, didn't change anything. Doesn't sound like support has any other ideas except getting it serviced.
Also recently noticed the battery led was blinking red whilst it was charging for a moment before it stopped- does this have a known meaning? Is it also common for the screen to go temporarily blank when the charger is connected/disconnected?

I have same laptop, and I have it for 5 months and got same issue. It's now a month and half later and I got nowhere.
MSI refused to accept it for warranty service due to I bought it from amazon but through a third-party seller.
I suspect battery but it's likely 120 bucks and it's not 100% sure if it's the root of the problem. Battery is not widely available out there.
Did you get any luck with support?

Ah Its great to know it may not just be my laptop. Not yet, I'm yet to post it to msi repair in an attempt to fix the problem, but I fear they'll reset the laptop and the problem will not be solved dispite such an immense loss of data. I'll see how it goes next month.
