suprim liquid x rtx 4090 repaste and thermal pad replacment

so my paste is old, and temps are going up, paste is probably aging.. was curious im gonna be replacing the thermal pads to, but cant pin down what sizes to get. i looked at the diagram i found, but it appears some cards may be different? having 1 heck of a time finding the sizes to order aswell. any assistance would be appreciated

Yea that what im was looking at, got confused with some of the other posts and videos saying pad thickness changed at some point. Is 1.5mm ok to put in the 1.25mm spots? Thinking about getting some thermal grizzly pads but they onlt have .5, 1, 1.5, 2, and 3 mm sizes

1.5mm should work, but make sure you find some "softer" one so it can actually get compressed.

So basically get the thermal grizzle minus pad pro, and not the extreme 2(its pretty stiff)

the thermal pads will be here tommorow(minus pad 8 pro) and ill be using duronaut for the paste(was gonna use the graphene but it was damaged in shipping)

4090 Suprim X Liquid uses Phase change pad between the cold plate and the GPU, you should probably replace it with the same. maybe try Thermal Grizzly Phase sheet.

sorry work was insane, forgot to post the results, here's the results, case is a rog hyperion gr701 fans are 4 corsair icue link rx120s in push pull front case mount intake.
on a side note, temps have actually gotten lower since these test were done.

base fan profile (~50%)stock(temp dependent)- ambient 22c, humidity-51%

idle stock paste-41c gpu, 50c gpu mem, 48c hotspot
idle kryosheet- 28.3c gpu, 42c gpu mem, 35.2 hotspot

furmark stock paste-(10 min)-89.2c gpu, 95c gpu mem, 101.8c hotspot
furmark kryosheet(10 min)- 76.8c gpu, 81c gpu mem, 81.4c hotspot

gaming(crimson desert max settings 4k)(1 hour)-84.9c gpu, 94.0c gpu mem, 98.4c hotspot
gaming kryosheet(crimson desert max settings 4k)(1 hour)- 63.3c gpu, 72.2c gpu mem, 70.4c hotspot

idk, whatever it was it was dry to the point of flacking like power, and there was almost none left on the die itself. it is was phase change, it felt and cleaned up way different for any of the one im used to.

Yeah. Make sure you don't use anything conductive. It's a risk.
Or use it under your own responsibility.

Yeah pick up a PhaseSheet, it'll be just as good as thermal paste temperature wise but will not have any pump-out over time and stay good for years. Temps might be a few degrees higher for a couple days since it needs time to thermal cycle to fill all the gaps.
