The battery indicator in my GF63 i7 9th gen does not glow while charging.

I have bought the MSI GF63 i7 9th gen last week. Everything has been working fine on it. It just that the charging indicator does not glow when the charger is connected. It is really botherimg me. Is it not supposed to glow when the charger is connected? I tried looking for any settings in the system and the Dragon centre but didn't found anything. Please help

Disconnect the external power supply, turn off the battery, remove the battery for 10 minutes and then reinstall it, then turn it on again and try again, and then plug in the external power supply to see if it is charging.
