I had the same problem with mt X570 ACE. Tried everything. Finally RMA. got the board back and in 1 week, LED went out. Now I just use the board as a test bench.

Hi there
I am also having this problem and i believe i have tried everything part from downgrading to Windows 10 and trying the update tool.

I have a MSI B550 MAG Unify board 7D13
I have reset the BIOS more times then i can count.
I have disconnected all USB ARGB and RGB items from my board
I have a 8 port ARGB hub that i used to use on my ASUS board so i know it works
I have tried the Update Tool but soon as i run it my machine starts to beep and then complain about a USB Device not recognised and then says Connect to Device Failed.
I have removed any and all software that could control RGB or ARGB and still cant get this working. on the update tool says Current Version Not Connect v.00

If you have any suggestions please as its driving me nuts currently and would love to get this resolved.

Have you tried the method of shorting JT1 header?
After that, try the update tool again.

In case you can't find JT1 on your motherboard, it is right next to JDP1, which is at the bottom of motherboard.

Ok i will try that as i wasnt able to see JT1 as bit difficult as its full water cooled with a Vertical GPU mount so will see if i can see it as i couldnt even find a ref to it in the manual so i turn that switch off the short JT1 and leave the switch off or do i turn that back on afterwards?

Cheers for your reply

Hi I tried to short out the JT1 but no luck do i need to do all the cmos clear again can you let me know step my step of the process and will give 1 more try
If not got a argb hub coming that has a remote so i can just set the fans with that as be easier and the fan speed is controlled by the board anyway but would like it working properly

Ok here's the steps:
1. Turn off PSU and LED_SW1.
2. Short JT1 pins (bridge two pins from the right) for 5 seconds.
3. Turn on PSU and run the LED update tool.
4. If it finishes successfully, you can turn on LED_SW1 to check onboard LED.

well gave it another go and still didnt work so have given up and just stuck a ARGB controller in that i can set via remote so does what i need to do as way to much hassle to pull it out
Just hope i can fix the USB 3 and USB header for the front on my case as that dont work either

Must admit not a fan of this board has great options if they all worked had lots of problems with it have tried doing everything a number of times and clearing the cmos via the button on the back and the jumper short as well still no ARGB or RGB and half the USB ports dont work latest version of the BIOS done

Not sure what else i can try now

I confirm the compatibility with Windows 11 is poor problems with the fan (at 50% at startup, quite loud noise) and return from prolonged standby, I have to open the software manually because it loads poorly.
