So many new MSI video cards are showing up recently and here is one of them, MSI 5830 Twin Frozr II. Built on Military Class Components and from the model name itself it is cooled by the popular Twin Frozr. (two fans with 4 heatpipes). The fans not just cools down the GPU chip but as well as other components like chokes, mem chips and some power phases.
Below is a picture of the 5830?s box which also looks like the 5770 hawk which I reviewed recently. Once you flipped up the front cover, you will see explanations regarding what Military Components are installed and awards that the video card got from Reviewers.
The card and its specifications
Core: 800Mhz
Memory: 1GB DDR5 4000Mhz
Video Output Function
Display Port, Dual-link DVI, HDMI (the video output rear ports are well nice covered and you don?t actually need to remove them once you are installing them in your rig. They don?t block the PCI slots ? )
The bundled Accessories
You have two 6 pin to 4pin molex connectors, crossfire bridge, VGA to DVI adaptor, Manuals and the Application/Software CD.
As always my beloved hardware test system. Plain and simple. Nothing fancy at all hehehehe

See the results?. Indeed the stock speed of i7 920 was not enough for powering up the performance of the 5830 video card.
Last Test. Overclocked i7 920 and 5830 Twin Frozr II video card
3dmark 06. I was able to finish the benchmark with 1040mhz core and 1300mhz mems

Vantage. Getting crashes with 1040mhz. What I did was to lower down the core to 1030mhz and I was able to finish the test
