There's 11 screws and one of them stays attached to the case when loosened:
I've found that if you try to open the case with the pick from the top where the hinges are, it forces the issue and you could run the risk of snapping the case or snapping off case clips.
It is best and much easier to approach opening the case from the bottom corner areas. It will come away very easily, then just work the plastic pick tool along the edges gently until the whole of the bottom case comes away allowing you access into the inside of the laptop.
