Hi guy's,

I don't know if it's allowed to mirror this version, but unless I hear something, I put it up.

This here, ladies and gentlemen is Menuet OS 64bit version 0.07

It's totaly written in Assembler, has a GUI, even some games and compilers.
The fun part, is that it runs from ONE floppy!!!!

You can create the floppy, then reboot your system with that floppy.
It does NOT touch your harddisk or such.
I just wanted to share this with you, as the 32 bit version does have a lot of neat options and programs.
This version is more like a preview, but the some of the games work, heck maybe we can even get the project more intrest, as I like this, even when it's far from very usefull.

...uh...some instructions...this is how I did it...in Windows XP...

1) download zip file
2) unzip
3) click rawrite2
4) go into the unzipped folder and click rawrite2 again
5) image source file name is m64-007.img
6) target disk drive is A

...haven't had time to play...

I like this OS.  :worship:

I can't believe it was completely written in assembler. If you can code in assembler, you can code on any high level language with ease.

I wonder in how much time they got it finished.  :think:

yes, i found it from altavista, 10mins after i asked, but i didn't say cause i was exploring the Menuet OS.

its not (very ) 64 bit , i allready have it run on my pc and on emulator too
but i dont to know how to pass may hard disk to it to read ( i'm very new )
i want to pass sound and tv card , and vga

brifely i mean i want to setup my hardware , how to do it

i have 2 pcs :  msi 845 ultra c                : intel 440lx/gx
                    intel seleron 1.7 ghz 128      intel p2 300 128
                        400                          ithink 400 too( it works faster than my p4)
                      vga :nvidia riva tnt 64          vga :s3
            sound : avance ac97 on board          creative sb64
              lan  :                      realtek 8139
            tv tuner : kworld ( apeice of crap)  --------------------
          moden : motorolla sm56 pci              ---------------------
          receiver : sky star 2 usb                  ---------------------
                      (why it dont download fron skynet )
do you know how to configure these

please simplefy that and i'll be thankfull :worship:

You found the 32bit version.....
Trust me, the 64bit version will not run on your P2-300 :lol_anim:
