Last week, the forum software was updated. Pretty soon, i discovered three things that are worse than before (and none that are better).
1) When pressing CTRL-K (or clicking on the link symbol) to enter a link in the text, the finished link doesn't appear where the cursor is anymore, it now appears at the beginng of the line.

So then i have to cut and paste that link to the end of the line. Unnecessary work.
2) "Reactions" (like thumbs up) to a post are no longer possible, instead it was replaced by a useless up/down vote system.
Previously, instead of replying something to thank someone, or to approve, or to say "you're welcome", you could just leave a "thumbs up" and they would know you've read it and approved of it:
This was a quick and easy thing that can save a lot of time when there is no need for a further reply about the issue.
But now, it's replaced by an upvote feature:
I don't think the user gets notified about that (you can try to upvote this thread and i will see), so they won't know if you've approved of their post. Also, i seem to be one of the only people that actually upvotes posts now. Previously, i would see lots of "thumbs up" on helpful posts, and i also gave thumbs up regularly. Now with this upvote, some number increases, nobody takes notice, this quick approval has become useless.
3) Different font size for composing a reply vs. the post itself.
If you want to keep the post looking neat and enter a manual line break, you cannot anticipate where the line would wrap, because the font size is smaller while composing a post, and larger after it's posted.

Why use a different font for the post composition? It makes no sense.
All three issues came last week with the forum software update. I don't see any otherwise redeeming features that the update brings.
