Hey everyone,
Just came across this quick short from MSI about their Cyborg 15 Black Edition and it got me thinking about the current state of budget gaming laptops.
They're heavily pushing the jump from the RTX 3050 to the RTX 4050, and honestly, the main takeaway is DLSS 3. The video points out that games feeling sluggish on a 3050 are getting a massive bump in smoothness on the 4050 thanks to frame gen, meaning way less compromise on frames.
They seem to be marketing this specific Cyborg 15 model directly at students and everyday users who need an accessible, smart upgrade path.
What do you guys think? Is the DLSS 3 frame generation on the 4050 enough of a game-changer for budget setups, or would you still recommend students save up a bit more for a 4060?
