  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?

  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

With the last version of msi center (1.0.38.0) it's impossible to open the mystic light panel. I have a b450 tomahawk max II and mystic light version is 3.0.0.02 (the last for now). Before the update it worked perfectly. I have already tried to uninstall it and reinstall but nothing has changed. How I can fix this ?

Broken for me too. Was fine before 3.0.0.02 update. The mystic light module installs but will not run and hangs on the rotating circle icon. X570 tomahawk wifi.

With msi center 1.0.38.0 live update just searching for updates endlessly. Rolled back to 1.0.31.0 which works fine. By the way - will be a good idea to keep several previous versions available to download on MB support page.

MSI Center_1.0.38.0 has a bug with my b560m pro vdh wifi motherboard, the Graphics Fan Tool is not working or opening after installation, when i click on open, it just brings me to the support tab of the MSI center app.

I'm having the same issue with a B450 Tomahawk MAX and a MSI RTX 2060. It worked fine before the recent MSI Center update. The Devices Speed Up module also just goes to the support page when I click it. MSI made a mess of this update for sure. So many people are reporting issues with it.

After upgrade mystic light did not work. So I uninstalled and re-installed. Now mystic light will not even install, stuck on "wait download." I am using Windows 11 and it's on the latest update. Previous version worked with no issues. I have uninstalled MSI Center and installed Dragon Center, which allows some control of the LEDS, but the colors are all wrong and the effects in MSI Center were much better. I have just turned off all the LED on my system as an alternative in the meantime using Dragon Center. Please fix this or at least post a link to download an earlier version so I can roll it back to the version that worked.

EDIT: Board is a MAG B550M Mortar Wifi.

Anyone got a link to a working version of MSI Center....latest is broke as....

Nothing works, nothing is saved, any reboot and everything resets to defaults, doesn't pick up all the relevant hardware as has done previously, you select any of the components and it always runs the game recordings...nothing else...
Win 11, Z690 Carbon Wifi, latest BIOS, RTX3080ti etc etc....doesn't seem to matter what specs your rig is....MSI Center just doesn't work since last update !!

PLEASE can we have download links to previous//earlier versions till the current one is fixed PLEASE

Thanks but link doesn't work - "Not Found" is only thing displayed

I've tried to rollingback msi centre but no joy as it just tried to download the 3.0.0.02 mystic light module which still doesn't run. I assume therefore the problem is with the new mystic light 3.0.0.02 plugin which as far as I know, can't be rolled back. I'd rather not use msi centre and run a stand alone mystic light or similar programme but not been able to do this with any success on my x570 board.

downloaded from MSI or windows store ? should be the same though. Just uninstall/reinstall then. I have had problems with win11 not uninstalling properly, not only msi software but also intels, that got installed from the msi usb stick..., had to download from official sites to reinstall and then uninstall to get a proper uninstall. Makes me wonder.

Out of interest, last night I was looking through background processes as I've always though my idle temps were a bit high. Came across LEDkeeper, something to do with msi centre/mystic light and msi rgb control. Anyway, this was using some cpu resources even though msi centre was not running (I normally set my rgb and close it as don't need it for anything else). I killed the process and my idle temps dropped instantly by 20-25degrees!!!! I ran cinebench and got an extra 1500 points instantly and at load the cpu runs 5 degees less at fulload. It was late so just had another go doing the same this morning and the results were almost identical. Not sure if the process had gone corrupt as I've been installing and uninstall a few times to try and get mystic light working or if it's because the latest update is broken but I was surprised how it was affecting my system.

i am no longer using any of the msi software, maybe for that reason, too much bloat running background. and windows 11 is bloat enough as it is. Not properly uninstalling , leaving folders all over the place that would otherwise be properly gone in win 10 even. Plus mystiq light doesn't control systemwide anymore , the previous version could affect my corsair gear but that seems to be gone with the new .38 aswell, so i set the lighting as i wanted and uninstalled it all. Then had to clean my system disk with privazer to remove all traces. All in all i found the msi software that comes with msi centre very useless, only the mistic light could have been but once set, it becomes useless aswell. Corsair icue controls my corsair gear and lghub my logitech gear, and that's it. Msi mobo lights doing it's default stuff is good enough for me, it's not in my sight like keyboard and mouse devices.
