d. Make sure both MSI Center SDK & MSI Center is removed
e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?

  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

Hi everyone,
I recently built a computer. Sometimes when I'm away from the computer(onyle screen black not sleep mode). Computer freezes and I reboot. When I look in the event viewer I see the Ledkeeper2 error. Anyone experiencing this? Or is this a bug?

Thank you! It works for Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Any info on what it does? It seems to max out the efficiency cores. Alt-tabbing hangs during the 3 minutes or so, and windows wants to end the explorer process because of it. Any other problems it could cause? Or a way it can only last 1 minute?

EDIT - There is another solution by manually setting the game's executable affinity in Task Manager to actually USE the e-cores if they are disabled, or disable them if they are enabled. Source video.

Known Issue: MSI Center 1.0.55.0 + Clutch GM30 or Vigor GK50 Low Profile or Vigor GK50 Elite = Prevent system to turn off monitor or enter sleep mode automatically based on power plan settings
Status: MSI is able to duplicate the problem
Solution: N/A
The new version 1.0.59 suffers the same problem, it still prevents monitor from going to sleep :(

System spec below no MSI keyboard or mouse used. Updated to version 1.0.59.0 still experiencing the same prevention from monitor going to sleep.
Keyboard: Logitech G19 and Razer Tartarus Pro
Mouse: Logitech G502 Lightspeed.

Hello ! To done the latest upgrade, I need to completely uninstall MSI Center + MSI SDK, Reboot my PC and install it again. This cause by a message with .sys file cannot be replace cause it open. Nevermind I will success the installation but I've now a bug inside this version. The graphic that show frequency of my CPU is now block at 3700Mhz (5900X) where Task Manager show me the correct Ghz in perf tab.

I think this version not working correctly. Can we rollback to the old version ?

did you uninstall MSI Center with this tool?
MSI removal tool [newest version]
https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/MSICenterUninstaller.zip
if the CPU frequency is still stuck, please share the zipped folder generated by the log collector.
The tool is for collecting MSI Center/Dragon Center/Creator Center log file for troubleshoot.

also, i remember enabling Windows' memory integrity causes the CPU frequency stuck at a fixed value, but this should've been fixed already. are you using core isolation and memory integrity?

You find the issue ! This is core isolation and memory integrity functionnality of Windows Defender. Next to last Windows update, it warm that this functionnality is disable due an incompatible driver xhunter1.sys. I manage to fix this and re-enable the functionnality but didn't catch that graph was stuck on 1.0.50 version and also 1.0.59. I've just disable it to try right now and graph is now come back to life !

I'm more comfortable to have core isolation and memory integrity enable but does it affect the work MSI Center or FROZR AI Cooling ?

Thx for your help

Here's the log report after using the unnistall tool and reinstalling with the file you sent. ( it still does the same thing )

Opening MSI Center disables the Windows key on my Vigor GK50 Elite keyboard and it doesn't work again until I reboot my PC. This didn't start until the Gaming Gear software automatically installed itself into MSI Center which I never even opened or used and there's no way to uninstall it directly from MSI Center. I tried using the uninstaller in the Gaming Gear folder but afterwards MSI Center wouldn't start. I finally uninstalled MSI Center using the MSI Removal Tool and now I have no issues with the Windows key and I use a different software to control the RGB in my PC instead of Mystic Light since that was the only thing that I used MSI Center for to begin with. Gaming Gear should be an optional install and not something that MSI Center does automatically just because it detects a MSI keyboard, or at least have a way of uninstalling it.

System specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming Z
32 GB 3600 MHz RAM
MSI Vigor GK50 Elite keyboard (Kailh blue switches)
Logitech MX518 mouse
LG UltraGear 27" 1440P monitor

hi, can you please install MSI Companion in Features, enable it in Game BAR, and enable Windows key switch?

I have to install another app to get it to work properly? No thanks. Life is much better without MSI Center and any of its parts.
True and honest words. Although those are perks of using "gaming" products these days, they all come with their own malware to control everything. Personally I stick with Corsair for everything, so this way I have just 1 junky software installed.

Exact the same issue, same keyboard. As soon as MSI Center starts, the Windows Key stop working.
